We featured this guy last year when he performed for the CMJ Music Marathon last year at Littlefield in Brooklyn (WordSpit The ILLest on aEM). He graced our blog for a reason. His flow is sick. His bars are crazy. He represents a part of what hip hop is missing. He’s finally back, dropping his new single called Tough Luck. Check it out below.

In what could possibly be categorized as one of the most long-awaited returns for artists on the come-up, Wordspit is finally back, and with a vengeance.
From the face of your favorite McDonalds rap commercial to your favorite America’s Got Talent contestant, “Tough Luck” is proof that he’s not only versatile, but serious about his career and image. As the first release off of the August-anticipated mixtape, Wrath of the Illest, “Tough Luck” is already causing a stir.
Aggressively demolishing the Coopac Shakur produced track, Wordspit proves with one record why people have been steadily rooting for him all along. As one of the more hardcore tracks on the project, it’s the perfect send-off as a message to the rest of the rap game: “Here I Am!”
We are grateful for your support in the past, and hope that you will continue with us throughout this new arising journey. We have more merchandise, songs, and videos in the near future! We’re excited and enthusiastic for the surprises to come.
This is only the beginning…
